FAQs

FAQs

  • Where is the boat located, and where should I park?

The boat is docked East of the Destin Bridge at the Heron Harbor Marina.  The address is 314 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541.  There is convenient parking right behind the boat, along with up the hill from the boat.

  • What should I bring?

Bring what you would like to eat and drink plus any personal items you may want: sunglasses, pillows, change of clothes, sunscreen, camera, etc.

  • What is provided?

We supply the bait, tackle, fishing licenses, Captain, and Mate.

  • Can we bring beer on board?

    Everything in moderation!

  • All trips are private?

Yes, all the RELENTLESS charters are “private!” This means your trip is ALL about you and your group. We do not sell tickets, slots, or group you with other fishermen.

  • How far out can we go?

That depends on how long your trip is, what time of year it is, and what you are fishing for that day. We won’t go any further than we have to, but will go however far we need to, to catch fish.

  • Can I bring my 91-year-old father, my cousin in a wheelchair, my baby in a carrier or my sister that doesn't want to fish, but would like to watch?

The answer is YES, YES, YES, and YES again. We have not found anyone yet that we cannot accommodate or manage to get onboard with very little trouble and keeping everyone’s dignity intact. Bring ‘em all!

  • • Is there a place to get out of the sun and cool off?

We have a full-size, air-conditioned salon with plenty of seating inside, by a window, where you can cool off and keep up with what is happening on deck.

  • Can we bring children on the boat?

Absolutely. This is a family-friendly boat. Kids do very well on board. The bigger ones often out fish the adults and the tiny ones go to sleep the minute the motors “crank.”

  • What forms of payment can be used?

We take Mastercard, Visa, American Express, checks, and cash..

  • How much of a tip is customary?

A customary tip is around 15%-20% of your trip cost. You can gauge this by how well our mate does and how you enjoy your trip.

  • Is fish cleaning included in the fees?

Fish cleaning and fileting is included in the tip for the mate.

  • Is there a restaurant that will cook our fish?

Brotula’s Seafood House and Steamer has a “Hood & Cook” dinner where you can bring your catch. The restaurant will prepare and cook your catch three ways and provide all the sides. Don’t miss this!

  • What happens to our deposit if the weather is bad, and we cannot make our trip out?

In the event the weather does not allow you to fish we will return your deposit unless you reschedule for another day.

  • What happens to our deposit if we cancel?

If you cancel at the last minute, we will try our best to rebook the day and return your deposit. If you give us plenty of notice, we will return your deposit. If you don’t show up, then your deposit is lost. FYI…We have not had a deposit “issue” in 40 years of fishing. You will not be the first, so not to worry.

  • Where should we stay in town?
